Holiday Greetings for your 
Clients and Prospects

During the holiday season it's more important than ever to keep in touch with your clients and prospects. Have you begun your holiday marketing campaign? Get a jump on your competition when sending out holiday cards to your farm area and sphere of influence. Whether you are sending your greetings via snail mail or e-mail, it's nice to acknowledge the season with a colorful holiday greeting (and a GREAT opportunity to market yourself.) If you haven't yet started, be sure to capture the attention of prospective clients by planning and sending your campaigns very soon. 

Be sure to that YOUR holiday greeting cards stand out from the crowd! The more unique your message is, the more likely it will be opened by your clients and prospects. Attract their attention with bright colors and flashy designs. 

Your greeting cards can be much more effective if they offer more than just salutations. When sending a postcard, be sure to include action items for prospects to visit your website for free reports, community info, and the latest updated property listings. If it applies in your state, why not offer a contest or drawing pertaining to something in your local area. Don't just greet... offer something of value! 

This might also be a good time to remind prospective Sellers that there are some unique advantages to selling their home during the holidays. During the holiday season they can show their home at its very best, with greenery, twinkling lights and seasonal charm. 

If you were already planning to send out a seasonal card, remember there are many other opportunities to send out greetings during the other holidays throughout the year. December may be the "primary" season; however, other occasions during the year are a good time to remind customers of your existence and to give them a helpful real estate market update. 

Here is a very important question: is your website ready for the holiday season? Does your voicemail greeting say 'Happy Holidays'? (When checking your voicemail message, be sure your website is mentioned as a GREAT source for local information, listings and more!) Now is the time to make a list, and check it twice.

The International Real Estate Digest is the source for independent real estate information.  It is one of the oldest real estate information sites on the web and has a huge REALTOR directory. 

To add your link to their site and get 'rated' by them costs $25.00.  Your site will then be reviewed and you will receive a rating.  Your website has to be VERY personalized to receive a good rating.  Be sure you have NO empty pages, personalized content, and a good theme or slogan.  

To have a boldfaced link which puts you at the top of the page, the cost is $150.00 a year.  If you achieve a good rating, we highly recommend this option.  IRED is a wonderful resource to belong to!
