Last week's Marketing
Tip sparked some comments in the Advanced Access Forums.
"I had no idea that show was on
TV. How nice to have something that shows real estate agents as
heroes and not villains! I'll definitely take your advice and link
to it from my site.
Another good show is on A&E TV
called "Sell This House!" Great tips for sellers. I link
to that as well and use it to show the kind of thing that I can do
for my sellers, too!"
Kristin Noll
Lynn
Humphries, from Gulf Shores, AL, had these comments to make:
"Maybe this one has already been
discussed, but my favorite is House Hunters. I believe that it is on
Home and Garden Television. I love seeing the inside of these homes.
It is so exciting to see the different ideas that the buyers come up
with in decorating and updating. Very informative!
Some of the agents can be quite
humorous though! Some are nervous, some are not. It is very helpful
to watch other agents around the country interact with their
clients."

Advanced Access headquarters is
located in Orange County, in Southern California. Although we were
not directly affected by the catastrophic California wildfires, we
all watched helplessly as the ominous smoke obliterated the skies.
Most of the week was dark and gloomy with an eerie reddish glow as
the sun attempted to shine through the thick cover of smoke. Many
were not as fortunate, as hundreds lost their homes and thousands of
acres were burned.
We would like to extend our heartfelt
sympathies to any of our valued clients, your families or friends
who were affected by the California wildfires, or in the path of its
destruction. The following are some links for more information
regarding the fires that are still burning as of today:

Have
a Safe and Happy Halloween!
We are being inundated with requests
to be featured on the Weekly Marketing Tips, which adds your name to
our Link Popularity Update page. To allow you to be listed as soon
as possible, each week we will feature FIVE new websites that offer
reciprocal links.
If you are an Advanced Access client
and you have created a form to be filled out on your website, please
remember to filter out your contacts on the form so it does not
import into your weekly Intellicards Address book!
Here's how to set up your filter:
First, login to your Virtual Office
Click on Page Manager
Find the page that has your Link Popularity Request Form
Once you have reached the editing portion of the page, click on Form
Manager
On the bottom right hand side, click on 'Click here to edit General
Form Data'
Scroll down to where it reads 'IntelliCard List' and has a pull down
menu.
Please make sure you create a
separate address book into which you can filter these requests. If
you keep your Link Popularity list on the 'Default' address book,
all of your link partners will then be added to your Intellicards
Campaign List.
If you do not have a choice in the
pull down, you should go to your Intellicards Address Book section
and create a new address book. A suggested name for your new address
book could be 'Link Partners'.
