Contest

Welcome to the Most Impressive Website Contest – our second annual promotion that provides YOU - our valued clients - an opportunity to nominate a website designed and hosted by Advanced Access for a special award. 

This contest is special as it was created last year by our Advanced Access forum members.  We are pleased to announce the nomination period for our 2nd annual "Most Impressive Website" contest.

Nominations will be accepted from April 1, 2004 to April 30, 2004.  The voting period will be the first two weeks in May and the winner will be announced in the May Newsletter. This is a contest voted on by your peers.

Please review the available categories and decide which site you would like to nominate.  When you submit your nomination, please enter it into ONE CATEGORY ONLY (even if you believe your website is the best in multiple categories).  You only need to be nominated once to enter. Also, please choose an option under the “Who’s Nominating this Website” field and let us know if you are the site owner, a friend, or just an admirer of the website.  If a website is nominated more than once, and in more than one category, the website will be submitted into the category of the owner’s choice.

Voting will start on May 3, 2004 and end on May 14, 2004.  We will let you know via the Marketing Tips and Advanced Access Forum about voting instructions.  Keep in mind there may be many nominations to a particular category!  Be sure to enter in a comment that will entice your voters to click on your entry.

The winners will be announced in the May Advanced Access Newsletter.

How to Gain Qualified Visitors to your Website
without Increasing your Workload

Technology has really improved the way we do business.  ATM cards make carrying cash unnecessary.  You can now pay bills online and eliminate the trip to the post office or the possibility of your check getting lost.  And in the world of real estate, homebuyers and sellers suffer from information overload when researching information on the Internet. 

One of the ways the Internet has affected homebuyers is by allowing them to become proactive in their real estate decisions.  Statistics show that 71% of consumers are now starting their home search by visiting the web.  With these numbers, it stands to reason that one of the most important marketing tools you need to be successful is having a professional website.  Compared to traditional marketing channels, the Internet is a quick, inexpensive, and effective way to target and address your audience.  But just having a website does not ensure success.  After all, homebuyers need to be able to find you in the vast expanse known as the Internet.

Search engines

Search engines such as Yahoo, Google, AOL and others have made information easily accessible to online consumers.  By typing in a single term or a series of terms, consumers gain awareness of services available to them.  However, with changes to search algorithms becoming an everyday occurrence, it’s difficult to ensure that you are able to maintain your search engine positioning and continue to generate visitors to your site.
