Fall Fashions are
Here... Is YOUR Website in Style?
You see them
everywhere… it is the time of year when most magazine covers feature
the latest fall fashions. Eager shoppers are combing the pages and
planning their wardrobe purchases for cooler days ahead. Thinking
ahead to the next season in Internet Marketing, NOW is the perfect
time to take stock of your website. How does your website stack
up? Is it aesthetically pleasing, up-to-date, and fashionable? Or
is it time for a fresh new image?
Our Advanced Access Classic Package 3.0 has many hidden treasures
waiting for you to explore. Some of these sections can easily make
your website look more modern in design, colorful and streamlined.
The Style Manager is one section you can use to INSTANTLY
transform your website into a sleek, stylish and color-coordinated
Internet resource. Located in the Design Center of your Virtual
Office, our Style Manager has everything you need to dress up your
website for the new season.
The Style
Manager gives you the ability to change the text, link color,
and background of the default pages that you weren’t previously able
to change. Default pages such as your standard Buyer and Seller
Tips, Favorite Links, Community Links, or Resource Center
are a few of the pages that until we released the Classic
Package 3.0 version, you were unable to edit. These styles
will dictate the background of your standard pages, body text color,
header text color, link color, and link hover color. This section
will not affect any of your custom page managers. The Style Manager
only affects the “standard” pages that are a part of your Advanced
Access website. With the hundreds of designs and colors you can
create with your Advanced Access Classic Package 3.0,
it makes sense (and is far more fashionable!) to create a 'Style'
that matches your color scheme on your homepage and other custom
interior pages. Sometimes creating a style can be as simple as
changing the text color.
When Advanced Access created your website we initially created a 'default' style
which consists of white background pages, blue text, and blue
default links. In the Style Manager, we offer several default
styles to choose from, as well as the option to create custom styles
and add them to the list to choose from later.
The
Hartanov Team
website is a good example of an effective use of the Style Manager.
Their front page uses a white background with a green navigation
bar. If you click into the Hartanov Team website and select Buyer
Tips, you can see that all the links and pages continue that 'green'
theme throughout the site. Continue to click through their website
and visit Local Info, Selling a Home, and Favorite
Links. These are all standard pages in their Advanced Access
website that have been transformed to match the rest of the Hartanov
Team’s website through our Style Manager.
If you are
using a custom color theme on your website, why not stop in and
visit the Style Manager to develop your new, more fashionable
look for the new season!
Warning About Email Spoofing: Quite simply, a spoof email is one which has been doctored to look as though it has come from a particular sender (such as eBay, Advanced Access or other legitimate companies), when in reality it has come from someone completely different.
Things to look for in SPOOF Emails:
First, look for spelling and grammatical errors (many spoofs are written by non-English speaking persons, errors are common).
Second, if the email has a form to complete for any information (including your user name and password, bank details, credit card details, etc. etc.) then it is NOT from the genuine site. None of the genuine sites would do this.
Third, if we find that it requests us to confirm any login information (such as user name, password and any financial information like credit card details), it is most likely not a genuine email. If any site needs you to confirm details, simply type the known URL for that site into your browser, login and interact in that way alone, if there is any genuine need to verify any information, you will be asked to do so by some message when you are logged in.
Fourth, if the email advertises a competition, or tells you that you've been selected for some prize or accolade, don't believe it, and do NOT interact with anything within the email. You can confirm any of that by going to their genuine web site and logging in as described above.
If you are uncertain, contact our Customer Support department. Lately there has been a "spoof email" that APPEARS to be coming from Mark@ AdvancedAccess.com or Stanley@ AdvancedAccess.com advertising a company called CashOne. This is not an email from Advanced Access.
