is almost here and as you can see, the witches, ghosts, ghouls and
goblins have been skulking about the Advanced Access headquarters in

Halloween
marks the beginning of the official holiday season.
That’s why we enjoy sending our Annual Halloween Marketing Tip as
there are many lead generating ideas that you can incorporate NOW -
before the holiday actually arrives. These ideas can be a great
addition to your marketing and advertising campaign and you might
need a week or two in preparation. We would also be interested in
hearing how YOU prepare for the holidays and how your holiday ideas
relate to your business. Let us know if you come up with anything
fantastic so we may share your ideas with your fellow Advanced Access users! Also, be prepared for some
jokes
and
links for your entertainment below. We hope they don't frighten you
too much...

How can you
use Halloween to promote your business and give yourself a marketing
advantage?
When you're
passing out candy to the trick-or-treaters that come to your door,
do you give them a business card? (You're thinking - are you CRAZY?
Probably not!) Here's a thought - how about putting a sticker with
your website address on the candy wrapper? How long would that last?
Hmm... maybe not very long! If you don’t use a sticker on a candy
wrapper, how can you use this holiday to promote your real estate
business? It only takes a couple of hours to put together a powerful
Halloween Marketing Package.

The cauldron
bubbling over with pumpkins shown above was created for an Advanced
Access promotional drawing. Twenty-three colorful plastic pumpkins
were each labeled with a number on the bottom (1-23), filled with
Halloween candy, wrapped with plastic wrap, and tied with some
festive ribbon. The numbers corresponded to a daily prize that was
drawn for each working day during the month of October.
Rather than
labeling these pumpkins with a number, you can arrange for some
stickers to be made and attach them to the back of these pumpkins.
Or, you can punch a small hole in your business card and thread the
ribbon through the card to tie it to the pumpkin.
We found that we
were able to include 6-8 small pieces of individually wrapped candy
in the plastic pumpkin. This would be a nice little treat for anyone
looking for sweets during the Halloween Season!
You can create a
variety of fun and festive promotions with these pumpkins, including
passing them out on October 31 to your farm area, displaying them on
the front desk of your office, handing them out at your children's
activities, or giving them as gifts when you are touring buyers
around your town. The possibilities are limited only by your
imagination!

Ingredients
- Packages of small
plastic pumpkins (found at most local grocery stores)
- Packages of small individually wrapped Halloween candy
- Package of plastic wrap
- Two different colors of ribbon
- Scissors to curl the ribbon once it's tied
Then, have stickers made
up with your name, phone number, and website address to affix to the
back of the pumpkin. Or, you can attach your business card to the
ribbon, as described above.
Preparation
The pumpkin
treats are best put together with a helper. =) If two people are
packaging the pumpkins it will take about an hour to put together 50
packages. One person should start adding the sticker to the pumpkins
and filling them with Halloween candy. The second person can start
wrapping them with plastic wrap and tying the ribbons around the
top.

Halloween Links
You can find these types
of links anywhere on the Internet. Here are some good examples found
on Yahoo.com:
search.yahoo.com/bin/search?p=halloween+links
Enter these
links into your 'Favorite Links' section on your website. You can
also offer Free Reports through the 'Free Reports' program in your
Virtual Office. Instead of collecting links on your 'Favorite Links'
page, add them together as a Free Report and offer it through your
website! That way, you'll be notified if anyone requests one of your
Free Reports by e-mail.
Great links to add:

Have a Safe and Happy Halloween!

Read the following from real estate
professionals who are using Advanced Access' Marketing Tips to their advantage:
"I want to thank Advances Access for your stellar
service(s) and for providing such wonderful technical support people
as Dan. On Monday, October 18, 2004, I had occasion to call in for
tech support for numerous enhancements I wanted to make to my web
site. Dan was one of the most professional tech support people I
have ever had the pleasure of working with. To accomplish the many
changes I wanted made took a considerable amount of time. However, I
never felt rushed or that I had exceeded a time limit to accomplish
my goals. Dan was courteous, knowledgeable and took all the time we
needed to make all the changes I needed.
Thank you to Advance Access for your unparalleled service(s)."
Sincerely,
Jean Blake-Morton
