It’s My Party And I’ll Cry If I Want To!
It can be hard to
remember everything that needs to be accomplished when you’re
planning a social gathering. Parties need pizzazz, they need
imagination; the ideas rush to your mind! As the day grows closer
reality sets in; you need more than imagination, you need paper
plates, cups, napkins - you need to send out the invitations!
Invitations…the key
to any successful party.
You are excited to announce your gathering so you get started on
those invites. You know everyone will come; after all, you have
pizzazz! You’re quite busy, so you get to your address book,
address the invitations, and get them in the mail.
The day arrives;
you have paper plates, cups, napkins, decorations. Everything is in
order. You have a sneaking suspicion you forgot something but
you’re sure it will all work out. You’ve worked so hard, it has
to go well. And then, the worst happens: no one shows up to your
party.
You retrace your
steps…what could have gone wrong? And then it hits you…did you ever
fill in the important information on the invitation? The date,
time, location…none of it was on there!
As a busy Real
Estate Professional it is hard to remember to dot all of your “i’s”
and cross all of your “t’s”. Certain details can go unchecked, but
we hope the important ones are all in order. You may have plenty of
“pizzazz”, but if no one knows how to contact you, you will miss out
on the business that would otherwise be coming your way.
Email is often
where this communication breakdown occurs. In all the rush of the
day, you may send out an email with valuable information such as a
CMA, or details for a property. But at the bottom you forget to
identify yourself; to give that prospect a quick way of reaching
you. If that person doesn’t recognize your email address, they may
just delete your email. They also may move on to another agent
because their email came with a phone number, a link to their
website, etc. Losing a prospect can happen that fast.
When you don't
include your information at the end of every email, you are forcing
your prospective client to work harder to contact you. They might
have to search their sent items to find your address, go through
folders of your emails to locate that phone number, or email you
again to ask for that information. Make it EASY for them to find
and contact you.
Don’t miss out on
the party; include the important information! Here is a sample
email signature to get you started:

Read the following from real
estate professionals who are using Advanced Access' Marketing Tips
to their advantage:
Carol Wilson says:
"Kyle, today, as always, you helped me put exactly what I wanted on
my website. My very first call to tech support, you walked me
through a whole lot of things. And I was lucky to get you a few
other times; and always I got exactly what I wanted. A 5 rating is
too low; you are definitely a 10. I am completely computer
dangerous, and I appreciate your patience and your help. Many
thanks. Carol Wilson"
Kathy Migdal says:
"I have always been impressed by the customer service at Advanced
Access. I'm very happy that customer service is helpful and polite.
I have spent much time and money on my website and it's important to
me for my real estate business. Thank all of you in the Customer
Service Department!"
Marilyn Farber Jacobs says:
"KYLE IS TERRIFIC! I've talked to many of your agents, but he is the
most knowledgeable one. He was patient, gave me clear explanations
that I could understand, and you have a GEM in him. I understand now
how and why certain things can be accomplished on the Advanced
Access pages, and now I am going to try to customize a blank page
properly, and then I can finally accomplish what I want, and even
more."
Cheryl Keathley says:
"I have found most of your customer support staff to be helpful,
pleasant, and patient. I have found however, that Johnny has been
exceptionally helpful and very willing to answer my questions. I
have appreciated his assistance."
Jonathan Taylor says:
"Joe is a great person and a tremendous help to me. He is a master
at what he does."
Michele Heatherdale says:

always been pleased. However Joe Whyte really stands out, he was
very helpful, kind and willing to go the extra mile.

they are all appreciated! Good customer service!"
Earl Corbin says:
"Advanced Access is great. I have no complaints. The response time
from the Techs and other staff is absolutely the best. With their
help I am learning more everyday about my web site. It is definitely
enhancing my real estate business. Keep up the good work."
