Show off your
Personality to create a POSITIVE Reaction
and make an UNFORGETTABLE Impression on your Visitors
Statistics have shown that
the primary reason consumers surf the Internet is to view
property listings. Now that they've found YOUR website, what
makes them want to stay? We all know the Internet has
changed the real estate industry and revolutionized the way
consumers view properties. But the bottom line is that this
business is still all about personal relationships. Why
would your website visitor want to buy or sell property with
you as their representative? Your personality should shine
throughout the pages of your website and help your visitors
make that important decision that YOU are the REALTORŪ they
want to do business with.
Your website should state who
you are, what you do, and be CLEAR about how you can SERVE
your online visitor the moment they enter your website. Try
to be a problem solver. Your online visitors have a problem.
They want to find the PERFECT home at the PERFECT price in
the PERFECT location. Show them how YOU will be the solution
to their problem.
Don't be afraid to tell
"YOUR" Story
Let your prospective clients
know a little bit about you. Don't be afraid to get a little
"personal" in telling your story. We all love to read
stories about people - that's why so many of us read People
Magazine! Some of our clients tell us that they have nothing
interesting to say, but once they take a moment to think
about their background, they find there's an engaging story
to tell.
You never know how something
you write about yourself will affect your visitors and make
them want to meet you. Perhaps you like dogs, or were in the
boy scouts, or have two children in soccer, or volunteer for
a charity your visitors are familiar with. Some of these
details may seem trivial, but your prospects may feel more
comfortable working with you because they relate to you on a
certain level.
Sometimes, your NAME can win
you a new client. Read this cute story about how one of
Margie Casey's
clients chose her to represent them in a
sale:
"I have received many
customers from my website but the one I best remember was a
lady from Indiana. She was surfing the web for an agent in
Mobile, Alabama to list her home. When she found my name she
immediately knew it was a perfect match. You see, her dog's
name is Casey and her favorite aunt is named
Margie. So she chose me, Margie Casey, to list
her home. I sold it and made over $3,500.00 on that one sale
just because she saw my name and website. Besides the money,
I have made friends with her and her husband. Thank you
Advanced Access for making me stand out." - Margie
Casey, Mobile Alabama

experience before becoming a real estate consultant and then
shows her quick rise to success.
Irene Tsu ,
from Beverly Hills, CA capitalizes on her career as an
actress, with great black and white photos from the movies.
Debbie Ferrari , from San Clemente, CA, showcases her
many awards and designations with great looking photos.
Include Testimonials -
They're POWERFUL
After sharing how you got
started in the real estate business, let your visitors know
specifically how you can help them with their needs. Be sure
to include your specialties, designations, and your
experience in the community. Let them know that you are BEST
qualified representative of their real estate needs. If you
have a few handy, why not include a few testimonials within
the paragraphs of your story.
Including testimonials in
your website is a smart idea because it provides "instant
credibility." When you proudly display your designations and
awards, your clients will be impressed; however, when the
compliments come from other sources, they will believe even
more in your ability to provide the service they need. Why
brag about yourself when your clients can do the bragging
for you? Testimonials will allow the visitors to your site
to know what your past and current clients are saying about
your services, therefore increasing their confidence in you,
resulting in repeat traffic and sales.
Through the years you
probably have collected some nice letters or notes from past
clients. Make it a point to add small excerpts of those
letters to your 'About' page. We recommend that you edit the
comments to make them more "readable" -- only the most
interesting part of their statements need to be included in
your site. If you sprinkle the comments in different
sections of your website your 'About' section will be even
more interesting reading for your web visitors.

impressed with his willingness to find out what the problem was, as
well as his friendly nature. Thanks Jeremy!"
