Advertising Your URL! Whew! Your new website was just placed online and now YOUR job is to make sure everyone knows where it is located! One of your first duties when you set up a new website is to order new business cards with your website URL immediately. "What about the 600 OLD cards I have sitting in my desk", you ask? Do not wait until you run out of cards. Do it now! Think about putting your website URL in a slightly larger font then your phone numbers. Doing so will make your website stand out. For your OLD business cards... Don't waste those either! Let's get creative and use Web address stickers. Visit your local printer and ask them to print small labels that feature your online address and invite people to visit. Just stick them to the back of your business card to remind people to visit your new website! These stickers will also work well for old stationery, envelopes, note pads, and more. Here's an example of a sticker you can use for your business cards:
I hope our weekly Marketing Tips have been helping you with your own marketing efforts. Here are some comments from some of our valued clients! "Thanks for all your help with my new web site. I know I'm asking for a lot of things and you have been great! I got my first real results from my web site when I got a listing last week. When they called me, I couldn't get out to see the sellers as fast as they wanted and they were going to go ahead and list with one of the many agents they had already interviewed. I sent them to my web site to view my listings. They also saw the info on selling your home and printed it out. They called me back and made an appointment within my time frame. We met and they listed with me. I would have lost the opportunity to even meet with them had they not been able to meet me through the web site. From what I can tell, the other agents had company web sites, but not individual ones. They were impressed and wanted me! Thanks so much for helping me pull my site
together the way I want." Joan Hazelgrove
"I love your weekly tips. I learn something new every week. I really liked this week's information about privacy statements. So, I have completed my privacy statement and have attached the files to this email. Keep up the great work!" Kim Reyes Advanced Access |
