I am blogging from the Bell Harbor Center on Pier 66 in Seattle, Washington.  The hall is buzzing with great conversations as people see old friends, and meet some new ones.

It was neat hearing the music in the center before we began.  Hendrix and Nirvana in Seattle

Danny Sullivan just took the stage to welcome us all to this wonderful inaugural event.  He made a joke about coming to the conference helping you rank better, hehe.

Of course Danny is very nice and personable.  It’s so nice having such a well respected speaker, guru of search, and he is down to earth with everyone.

These sessions are more interactive and should prove to be enlightening.

There are a number of events coming up with SMX/Search Engine Land/Third Door Media.

I am going to be attending the Organic Track events today and hope to cover as many topics from the conference here for you.
