Big news about supplemental results
August 2nd, 2007 by AnnaOn the Google Webmaster Blog there is a post called “Supplemental Results go Mainstream” … I saw that and my heart began to flutter (like only a true geek’s would) and lo and behold, there have been some neat developments for Supplemental Results.
The biggest result being:
They are no longer labeled as Supplemental!
From the post:
The distinction between the main and the supplemental index is therefore continuing to narrow. Given all the progress that we’ve been able to make so far, and thinking ahead to future improvements, we’ve decided to stop labeling these URLs as “Supplemental Results.” Of course, you will continue to benefit from Google’s supplemental index being deeper and fresher.
