Tips on Real Estate Web Design, Marketing, and Search Engines

Valentines Day brings a variety of different internet users online for many different purposes. That being said, it would be great if you could figure out some way to draw in some extra attention to your website by offering some sort of Valentines promotion or freebie that you can spread the word locally about. The people you end up bringing into your site may not end up contacting you to buy or sell a home right now, but they will certainly remember your site in the future when they are ready!

Here are a couple of fun ideas to implement on your website to bring in some seasonal traffic:

1. Create a “Dear Cupid” section.

Create a few different versions of canned love letters that has “fill in the blanks” for things like their Significant Others name, pet names, anniversary dates, etc. and make them printable off of your website.

2. Create a “Hug Your Neighbor” page on your site.

Create a new page on your site that is all about helping the community and donating time, goods, etc. You could list some of the local charities in the area as well as activities that residents can participate in to lend a hand to the less fortunate this year.

3. Have a “Cute Cupid Photo Contest”

Create a page on the website where you encourage your visitors to submit photos of their homes/property that are decorated for Valentines Day. Each week you can choose a winner and provide that person with their own page on your website where you will include a picture and a small bio about the person/family who owns the home. I’m sure the proud winners will be telling all of their friends to visit your website to see their accomplishment!
