Tips on Real Estate Web Design, Marketing, and Search Engines

Many times we hear clients in our forums talking about their placement in the search engines and how they are faring against their competitors. This got me thinking about the website owners who are occupying the top spots in the search results; do they pay attention to who is ranking beneath them?

It would appear that many of the top rankers are not entirely worried about the “up and comers” for their keywords. I don’t know about you, but I would be interested in a new person who moved in on my block, because you never know who is going to be a problem for you.

That new family may throw a lot of parties or love to mow their lawn first thing Saturday mornings. New to the neighborhood or not, you should always be aware of who is occupying the space that surrounds you.

A newer website may not have established authority on the internet yet, but they might be implementing a genius new strategy that you have not thought of yet. When they eventually get the credit they deserve and start to rank competitively, will your website be able to stand against them? Staying on top of what your competitors are doing online will help to ensure that you are always on par with offering every convenience a user may want or need when they visit your website.
