That's exactly right - this is why these posts don't just focus on websites anymore...there's more to it. But in a way, it's easier - or it can be if people let it.

It is quite convenient to simply have a thought pop in your head and be able to just blog it, twitter it, or otherwise get it out there without some sort of drawn out process.

People are really looking for the most "here and now" info they can find. Not many people really want to spend all day driving from home to home to home trying to keep track of everything.

Another thing to consider is the change in how people are interacting with real estate professionals online. It's time for agents to really start considering blogging and using sites like Trulia.com to connect with potential buyers and sellers.

Your website alone isn't going to cut it anymore. This isn't to say that your website is useless; it just means that you need to consider more online ventures in tandem with your website.

Most agents aren't taking advantage of this right now. So if you start now you'll be ahead of the game when it becomes the norm. The real estate industry is evolving with the internet, and if you don't keep up the competition is going to reap the benefits.
