Facebook Badges
December 17th, 2008 by AnnaScratching beneath the surface of Facebook is great; I’ve found some interesting “goodies” as I’ve looked beyond socializing with my friends.
A few of you have emailed and commented about getting a badge or icon to add to your site telling people you are on Facebook. And while I’m sure the handy-dandy graphic I made is your absolute favorite I wanted to share this neat-o option I found on Facebook…
Login to Facebook, and click on “Profile”. Scroll to the bottom of your profile, and on the bottom left there is a small link that says, “Create a Profile Badge”. I have to say it’s not in the easiest place to find, but it’s easy once you know where to look.
Click that link and choose your options.
Next, grab the code and paste it in the code for your site and / or blog, etc. The badge will be clickable and take people to your profile.
If any of you implement this, comment here and let us all know so we can check it out.
