Twitter Badges

December 18th, 2008 by Anna

Yesterday I talked about how to create a Facebook badge for your site. Now it’s time to learn how to create a Twitter badge.

Like Facebook, Twitter has a few options for the display of your updates on your site and / or blog.

Log in to Twitter, then click on “Settings”. Make sure you are on the “Account” tab. Under the “More Info URL” field there is text and a link that says, “Have a homepage or a blog? Put the address here. (You can also add Twitter to your site here)”. Click on the link and choose the “Other” option on the page. Choose your option - don’t worry, you can customize the color for each option.

Each badge will share your most recent update (or more depending on your preferences) and a link that says to follow you on Twitter.

  1. Do you have a link to a tutorial that shows us how to add social networking “Follow me” badges (Twitter, Facebook, maybe some others?) to my A/A website?

  2. No I don’t have a tutorial. But it’s pretty much just adding the code Facebook and Twitter provide.

I would be more than happy to write something and post it sometime next week. But you can call our Support Team tomorrow (Sun) morning and ask them to add the code for you if you like.
