Advanced Access Forums

January 16th, 2009 by Anna

Over the past several years our forums have been a great resource for our clients to discuss real estate, get referrals, share ideas, and more.

The nature of most forums is to have open discussion between members and for moderators to post if there is *moderation* to be done. For example if the proverbial “fur” is flying ;) We have long since touted the forums as another means of receiving support from us, however, there are some downfalls we have seen and want to avoid.

For example, if you post in the forums and someone answers you; who tracks that? We have had some posts fall through the cracks because forum posts do not create support issues in our system. This makes it more difficult to make sure we keep you informed and get the tasks you requested completed. This is not the most efficient use of your time, so we are making a change for the better.

In an effort to improve our service to you, we will once again make the forums a completely peer to peer discussion medium. If you need anything from Advanced Access regarding your site or have questions that you want answered by a representative of Advanced Access, we ask that you direct that to our Customer Service department; this will get you the service you need in the quickest time frame. I will remain the forum moderator and will post in the forums if there is an important announcement (this will most likely be a link to announcements here at the blog), and I will post if there is a conflict between members that does not resolve itself.

If you need anything from Advanced Access, simply contact us via:

- Phone at 866-518-1571
- Email at support@advancedaccess.com
- Live Chat - Login to your Virtual Office and click on the Live Chat option to speak with a representative right away (during business hours).

We have resources dedicated to assisting you through these channels, contact us - we’re here to help.

  2. I think this is a solid move by Advanced Access. The form turned into a support feature more than a community. Let’s hope you can build it back up!

  3. Does anybody know the A Record for Advanced Access? I need it to change my hosting.
