“Form-Fitting” Lead Generation Ideas

Hopefully, that gave you some ideas on how to get the word out about the various offers and information available on your real estate website. This week I want to go over some on-page lead generation ideas (offers, info, contests, etc) so you can get some leads rolling in.
The Power of FREE
Never underestimate the power of the word “free”. Of course, not everything free is good, you also need to make sure your free thing/service holds value for your potential clients. My suggestion for giving something away for free is offering a free report or white paper. Giving consumers information that is helpful; information they actually want, is an effective way to get a form filled out. Of course, most agents don’t have time to develop a free report. Advanced Access has a couple of ways that we help you… for FREE, of course!
On each Advanced Access website, we include a Free Reports section. There are seven real estate reports available to your website visitors, and they need to complete a form to receive them. You can login to your Virtual Office to edit the default reports. You can also add your own reports.
In addition to the Free Reports resource on your website, we currently have a PDF report available to you for distribution to your prospects via your website, email, or print. Download the “Now is the Time to Buy, Give Your Clients 10 Reasons Why” report from the Advanced Access website. (Form located on the bottom, right of the home page). You can distribute the client section of the report - be sure to add your contact information to the report!
Other free things to give away are CMA’s, relocation packets, new home sales information, etc.
Winning Can Be Everything
Just about everyone loves contests. A chance to win something that people really want is a wonderful incentive for people to fill out a contact form on your website. Use the tools I discussed last week (Twitter, Facebook, etc) to broadcast your contest. What can you give away? What do people want? What’s the latest thing? If you want a big contest, let your offer be related to a transaction (only if this is legal in your state of course).
Knowledge is Power
Above all else, you have your expertise as a real estate professional to help you earn business. You do this every day, you just need to translate it to your website. You also have connections to related industries (contractors for example) that you can share with potential clients. Use this information in a creative way and get more leads. Include a lead generating form on every page of your website - especially your home page. Re-read my post about the secret to compelling content and incorporate the hook, the value, etc into your lead generation pages.
Ready, Set, Go!
You want your forms to be filled out, so go create forms, and the content that surrounds them. Use the resources we provide to you - remember, they are FREE and included with your website already, so take advantage! Most importantly, leads will only be valuable if you follow up with them, so return those phone calls and emails (Tweets, and messages too) ASAP!
