Featured Client of the MonthJuly 2007: Cindy BabcockCindy Babcock Website: www.cindybabcock.com Contact Information: An Interview With Cindy Babcock Advanced Access: How did you get started in the Real Estate Industry? Cindy Babcock: I had worked in the field of International Logistics (import/export) for many years and looked for a challenging career change. Having always enjoyed and understood aspects of home remodeling, being a land lord and selling personal homes myself, I thought that Real Estate would be a good fit.
CB: Relocation. I am currently working towards making extensive changes to my website to reflect this specialty. AA: At what point did you realize your need for a website? CB: I knew right away that the web was going to be an increasingly powerful tool for real estate transactions, and the sooner I obtained a presence on the web, I would have an edge on the large number of agents that relied only on local print marketing practices. AA: Describe your journey to Advanced Access and why you chose us as your provider. AA: How has your real estate website impacted your business? CB: I have obtained numerous leads from my website, but it mainly allows me to provide current and varied information about the Charlotte region to people relocating to the area. AA: What other resources through Advanced Access and life in general have contributed to your success? CB: Having been a resident of this area for over 21 years, I have been able to witness and attest to the phenomenal growth of the area – as well as the ever-increasing use of technology in everyday life; and certainly its use within the Real Estate Industry. AA: Share with us some information about a recent transaction that began as a result of your website. CB: I received a phone call from an investor in California looking to purchase property in Charlotte. The relationship is evolving. AA: What are some of your goals for your website and your online presence? CB: To have my site more focused on relocation clients and ramp up national marketing for increased exposure. AA: Tell us a little about your family, your history, and what you like to do in your spare time. CB: I received a BA degree from Eisenhower College in Seneca Falls, NY. I have been married to Greg for 35 years, no children. I enjoy traveling and have had the opportunity to travel to Hong Kong, Taiwan, England, Switzerland and Hawaii on business, as well as pleasure trips to Nova Scotia, Italy, Belgium, and numerous US National Parks. When traveling to new areas in the USA we try to visit local zoos. I take pleasure in reading, spending time with family, friends and working on my website! |
