An Interview With Rodney Wilkinson

Advanced Access: How did you get started in the Real Estate Industry?

Rodney Wilkinson: I had been thinking of changing careers for a time. One day a friend of mine called and told me she had decided to get her Real Estate license and talked me into signing up and getting mine. I had found my new career.

AA: Do you have a specialty or favorite niche market group?

Rodney Wilkinson: I love working with first-time homebuyers. They are so excited at the thought of homeownership that I get just as caught up in the thrill as them. This is one of the most important decisions in life they will make and I feel honored in helping them make that step.

AA: At what point did you realize your need for a website? Describe your journey to Advanced Access and why you chose us as your provider.

Rodney Wilkinson: I wanted to have a resource tool for potential clients to see and use that tells who I am and how I can help them with a transaction. Before I made the choice of site providers, I glanced at different agent sites, asked questions on service support and only heard positive remarks about Advanced Access.

AA: How has your real estate website impacted your business?

Rodney Wilkinson: I have to credit my web guy for creating a personal site that has all kinds of home buying tools. You can search for property, schools, send me email, read past client testimonials and find out a little bit about me!

AA: What other resources through Advanced Access and life in general have contributed to your success?

Rodney Wilkinson: First, I have to thank God for allowing me to work in an exciting industry with many great professionals. Second, the training that Keller Williams provides its agents is far superior to most brokerages. This training along with continuing education such as ABR, e-PRO, has given me the skills that clients demand.
    
AA: What are some of your goals for your website and your online presence?

Rodney Wilkinson: My website is about a year old and I am working on some new content to add later this year. I would like to be one of the top sites to use when considering a move to Middle Tn.

AA: Tell us a little about your family, your history, and what you like to do in your spare time.

Rodney Wilkinson: I live in Franklin Tennessee with my wife Kathy, children Nathan and Lauren and our miniature schnauzer Elle. We enjoy Nashville Predator Hockey, Ethnic foods, XM Radio and camping at the lake in our RV.
