Advanced Access: How did you get started in the Real Estate Industry? Robert Schott: Century 21 Elite Properties is home to TeamConnect working in the Orlando Florida region for years. It started out with two family teams coming together to form TeamConenct and now consist of all seven family members and one assistant all REALTORS. AA: Do you have a specialty or favorite niche market group? Robert Schott: Yes, Dr Phillips is a region within Orlando Florida that the team lives, works and plays. We also work the Windermere, Orlando and Winter Garden areas within Central Florida.
Robert Schott: From the beginning we knew the advantage of internet exposure and how that will benefit our team. We did our research and looked in to the top web site companies and decided that Advanced Access along with its support and product was the best fit for us. We have not been disappointed and Advanced Access has exceeded my own expectations and that’s not an easy feat. AA: How has your real estate website impacted your business? Robert Schott: The leads generated by our web sites with Advanced Access www.TeamConnectHome.com , www.MyTeamConnect.com and www.TeamConnectOralndo.com has provided us with more then enough qualified leads for the team to work. I had a seller call me recently that researched the top agents from doing search results on the internet and that’s why he called us to list his home. AA: What kind of results have you achieved as a result of your website and Internet presence? Robert Schott: TeamConnect received the Ruby Award from Century 21 two years in a row and is now ranked forth in the Florida region. Our web sites and exposure is one of the main reasons. AA: What other resources through Advanced Access and life in general have contributed to your success? Robert Schott: I think the support from Advanced Access is second to none. Support is ready for our quick questions and there always is a friendly support staff ready to help, even on the weekends. The team did not know much about web sites, seo, and how to get high rankings on search engines but over the past 3 years really understand and learned so much thanks to Advanced Access. AA: Share with us some information about a recent transaction that began as a result of your website. Robert Schott: We had a listing in Dr Phillips this past month and a buyer from Hawaii saw the home on our Advanced Access web site and purchased it. We sold the home within 2 weeks when market time is closer to over 3 months. The team also has UK buyers calling and even a family from Germany coming in this month all from our web sites and the great exposure they give our business. AA: What are some of your goals for your website and your online presence? Robert Schott: Our goal is to make our web sites rank on the first pages of Google, Yahoo and MSN an are well on our way thanks in part to Mike Wilton our Marketing Specialist that is always there for the team with the tricks and secrets of search engine optimization and getting our sites the best exposure. The real estate market has been an uphill battle the past couple of years but we know when the dust settles TeamConnect will be standing and Advanced Access will be right next to us, we consider them a part of our team. AA: Tell us a little about your family, your history, and what you like to do in your spare time. Robert Schott: From left to right is my brother in law Paul Caponi my sisters Theresa Caponi and Julie Montiel, that’s me in the middle Robert Schott my sister Paula Hemani our beautiful mother Jane Schott and brother David Schott. Working as a family team of course can have challenges but we understand as a team and especially as a family harmony in the team and the family is number one. We have grown not only as a team but also as a family and we are continually growing. |
