Advanced Access: How did you get started in the Real Estate Industry?

Michael & Dee Norris: Michael... I was born in Winter Haven Florida. (Third generation, not too many around)! Owned and operated the ever popular ‘Michael’s Restaurant’s in the 80’s along with Hotels, in Winter Haven and the Carolinas. I have been involved in Real Estate and property development for more than 30 years, owning two Real Estate companies before joining Brokers Realty of CFI in 1996 with my wife Dee Norris.

Dee... I was Born and raised in England, Owned and operated hotels and an up market fashion boutique, on England’s beautiful south coast. Became a Florida resident in April 1992 and US Citizen in 2001. Actively licensed in Real Estate since 1994. Gained valued experience in the Disney area, selling vacation homes to foreign investors. Joined Brokers Realty of CFI in the fall of 1996.

AA: Do you have a specialty or favorite niche market group?

Michael & Dee Norris: Real estate is our passion... Creating lifetime relationships along the way, we have helped many families and friends through the emotional journey of changing their lives and fulfilling their dreams. Working together as a team have been tremendously successful in building up a terrific client referral base in both the Residential and the Commercial market.

AA: At what point did you realize your need for a website? Describe your journey to Advanced Access and why you chose us as your provider.

Michael & Dee Norris: Initially we wanted to provide real estate marketing exposure to showcase our many listings which range from modestly priced homes to opulent million dollar estates – Luxury homes, lakefront, golf, exclusive gated communities, and custom built homes. After endless searches… AA come up as our first choice as all the basics were already in place, but that was only the beginning…over the last years 5 ? With AA we have made many improvements on our site with the use of new technology, Idx, visual tours and the help from the amazing AA customer support team working with us every step of the way…

AA: How has your real estate website impacted your business? (Include statistics, financials, etc - anything noteworthy)

Michael & Dee Norris: As Top Producing Team for over 13 years... We have exceeded our greatest expectations in sales, in our aim to provide innovated marketing combined with teamwork and technology, Our AA site has given us the ability to deliver an impressive online presence and cutting edge service... The best compliments we can receive come from our repeat buyers and sellers….

AA: What other resources through Advanced Access and life in general have contributed to your success?

Michael & Dee Norris: We love what we do and believe the service we provide must be personal and professional. Our goal is to provide our clients with total customer satisfaction throughout the entire buyer or selling process from our very first meeting to beyond the closing.

AA: Can you share with us some information about a recent transaction that began as a result of your website?

Michael & Dee Norris: We closed on a remarkable 6000sf home to a wonderful family from Poland, who first saw the visual tour on our AA site. And recently we sold two neighboring lakefront homes to 2 brothers and their families from Canada… with our buyers using our site for the endless resources it provides they are now looking for new commercial ventures…

AA: What are some of your goals for your website and your online presence?

AA: Tell us a little about your family, your history, and what you like to do in your spare time.

Michael & Dee Norris: Our Personal Commitment, as well as working along side by side with our two valuable and skilled real estate assistants, Emily Wilkes (daughter) and Jennifer Kildew makes our team a winning combination. Family life is our joy... Daughters Carlie & Emily’ and Grandchildren Georgia 14 yrs and Benjamin 7 yrs... Together we enjoy world traveling, and when at home, cooking and entertaining or simply boating on the Beautiful Winter haven ‘Chain of Lakes" is our relaxation...
