Marketing Showcase

Does anyone know you have a website? How are they going to find out unless you tell them?

There are several ways you can get your website address advertised, and you should incorporate as many as you can into your marketing strategy.

  • Advertise your website address on your business cards, post cards, flyers, mailers, and any other print materials
  • Add your website address to your promotional items such as pens, hats, sweaters, name tag, sign riders, etc.
  • Add your website address to your car with a back window sticker, license plate frame, or URL tag
  • Use your local newspaper to feature your website; announce the “debut” of your brand new site, or the “Grand Re-Opening” of your revamped site
  • Add your website address to your voicemail greeting(s) (example: “Hello, you’ve reached Joe Agent, please leave a message and I will return your call. In the meantime, please visit my website at www.JoeAgent.com.”)
  • Actively investigate any available avenues in the media that “the other guy” is not taking full advantage of. How about church bulletins, school functions, athletic events, or even Pop Warner football leagues? On any given day, you can practically look around and discover an unlimited source of advertising avenues waiting for you to take ownership and include your website address.

What are you doing to market your website? If you feel you have a unique form of advertisement for marketing your website (such as a giant billboard, unique car ad, etc), we want to hear from you!

Please e-mail webmaster@advancedaccess.com with the following information:

  1. Your name
  2. URL of your ADVANCED ACCESS website
  3. Photo of your unique method of advertising
  4. A little information about your advertising method

We'd love to hear your success story!

Dan Hill of Phoenix Real Estate received "Honorable Mention" in Marketing Tip #262 for his use of his golf cart as a mobile advertisement. He has acquired quite a few listings due to this marketing technique.

Dan says, "What's more to say? It's a no brainer. If you have a website then promote it with your URL on the back window of every vehicle you drive."

Shortly after adding his website address to his golf cart (and driving it all around town) Dan got a listing because of that advertisement. The listing was in Sun City, AZ, and it sold like lightning. Since then it has continued to bring him business over and over again. Way to go D

Matthew Pellerin advertises his Phoenix Real Estate website on the back window of his Hummer. The back window is printed on see-through material so he can see out of the window as if it wasn't even there.

Matt has had a great response from this method of advertising since the Summer of 2004 when he first had it installed.

"I do get quite a few inquires directly from that ad. I ask people all the time how they found my site, especially locals, and have been surprised at the number of people who say they saw my Hummer in their neighborhood showing homes or out on the road one day."
