Traditionally, it's always a relaxing time during the week after Christmas and before the New Year. If you are taking some time to write out your 'Thank You' notes for the gifts you received... don't forget to add your website address! Since you are sending notes to family and friends, they might not be aware of your website and what you are currently working on. Here is an example 'thank you' note: Dear John, Thank you so much for the (insert gift here)! It was such a thoughtful gesture and will be a great addition to (insert place here). I had a pleasant time visiting with you and it was great to catch up. I have been extremely busy this past year with the real estate market and things are going great! Have you taken a look at my website yet? You can jump online and visit at (insert your website address here)! Let me know what you think! If you know of anyone who is thinking of buying and/or selling their home, please pass along my website address or have them call me. Let's get together again in the New Year! Sincerely, Pretty simple idea? Talking with your friends and family about your website can generate a good number of hits for you as everyone will be flocking to see what's new about you. If they start clicking around, they will be amazed at the quality and quantity of information that you offer! Be sure to check your statistics through your virtual office to see how effective your promotion was. Also, pay attention to responses, comments and suggestions from friends and family. They will give you the BEST ideas.
