This is your Marketing Tip of the Week from Advanced Access! In our July newsletter we introduced some exciting new optional enhancements to your website: Local Partners and the Communications Center. In this week’s Marketing Tip, I am going to cover our Communications Center and how it works. If you missed last week's Marketing Tip on Local Partners, click here to see our past Tips. If you have tried out last week's tip for Local Partners, please let me know what happened! I would love to post any responses you have had and share your experiences with everyone. The Communications Center enables you to create your own virtual emails instantly. Virtual emails are forwarded to the email address of your choice, and are controlled directly by you through your virtual office. A virtual email is a means to provide you with an email address that directly complements your Web site address. For example: If your domain name is JoeSmith.com, you can make a virtual email of: Homes@JoeSmith.com This email address can then forward to your personal email address that you already have. Your real email address might be something like this: jsmith15284@aol.com Your virtual email would automatically be forwarded to your existing e-mail account, where you would read it as usual. This means that instead of having a confusing email address that is hard to remember, you can have your email address match your domain name. By doing this, you start branding your information together and it is much easier for people to remember you. The Communications Center also incorporates email auto responses. Are you not able to check your email as often as you should? By enabling an automatic response to your virtual email you can make sure your potential customer knows that you have received their email and you will get back to them as soon as possible. There are times when you are away from the office all day and you can't get to a computer. It happens to everyone. Unfortunately, if a potential client emails you (and three other agents) on the day you are not available and you are the last one to get back to them.... What kind of impression does this give to your potential client? Think about that kind of scenario. You NEED to be checking your email at least three times a day. Here is an example of an automatic response: Thank you for your e-mail. I will respond with the information you have requested just as soon as possible. Please check our web site for additional community information and services available in the area. My web site address is: www.YourDomainName.com You can also give phone numbers where prospective clients can reach you, your schedule for the day, what time you usually answer your emails, and other important information. If you offer any special promotions such as bonus's, free gifts, or monthly drawings you can also incorporate this into your auto responses. Maybe you have a special referral plan for anyone that refers a client. On your primary email address add a paragraph to the end that reads "If you are interested in my fabulous referral program, please email me at FreeStuff@MyDomainName.com to find out how it works." Then, make a virtual email auto response for: FreeStuff@YourDomainName.com You can write all the information about your program in the auto responder. This will make it easier for your clients to access it and you can change it anytime you want. When telling your clients about it, make it special or exciting. If your program is with referrals, mention it in a conversation with a client whose escrow just closed. Act surprised that they have not heard of it, and tell them to email FreeStuff@YourDomainName.com when they have time. Having the word FREE thrown in will immediately make them curious and they will email your auto response to find out what it's about. Incorporate this into any program you offer. You can also set up an auto responder for any special property listings. Did you just get a hot listing on 1234 Main Street? Make a virtual email with the name of '1234Main@MyDomainName.com' - Set up a property description and neighborhood information. Then, if people are interested in this particular property, tell them to email that address. Do you advertise your properties in a real estate magazine? Add that email to the bottom of the advertisment. Maybe you just want to have an auto responder for your "Listing of the Week." Make an auto responder for 'HotListings@YourDomainName.com' and keep it updated each week. Take ten minutes every Friday night to keep these updated. These are the special touches that will personalize your website. If you get excited about it, so will everyone else. "THINK EXCITEMENT, talk excitement,
act out excitement and you are bound to become an excited person. Life will take
on a new zest, deeper interest, and greater meaning. " Advanced Access |
