1st Anniversary of AA's Weekly Marketing Tips!
---------------------

We have reached an important milestone at Advanced Access…the first Anniversary of our weekly Marketing Tips. Our goal in sending these Marketing Tips is twofold: (1) to contact you each and every week so you always think about your website (and you know we are thinking of you!); and (2) to give you some valuable ideas with regard to promoting your site to ensure as much traffic as possible is generated to your site. The response to our weekly Marketing Tips has continued to be very positive, and we would like to thank you sincerely for your efforts in contributing your creative thoughts and ideas. We would not be here without your business and your support.

It's always important to look back and review our previous marketing tips. Most of our clients are busy, and don't always have the time to read EVERY tip we send, so we have made ALL of our previous marketing tips available at the following location: www.AdvancedAccess.com/marketing/

Our very first Marketing Tip discussed the idea of promoting your website through your Voice Mail. Have you checked your message on your voicemail lately? Check out our very first tip at the address above!

Robin Reed from RE/MAX in Dallas, Texas sent in a great article from Corey Rudl, the author of www.MarketingTips.com. Corey does not specialize in real estate marketing; however most of his wonderful tips can be adjusted to suit the needs of the real estate industry.

"Five Simple Traffic Tricks For Quickly, Easily, And Cheaply
Getting Those First Visitors To Your Web Site."

When reading over the Traffic Tips, it's VERY important to think about how these tips affect you LOCALLY. Referring to 'Newsletters and E-Zines' Traffic Tip #1 in the article above, try looking at your local community sites for newsletters going out. Advertising in your community newsletter will ensure your message is read by the local homeowners!

Traffic Tips #2 and #3 bring forth issues that have been the subject of many of our previous Marketing Tips. These subjects include 'Pay-per-click' search engines (such as GoTo.com and FindWhat.com) and securing links to related websites, commonly known as 'Link Popularity.' These types of practices are "WORTH the effort", as Corey Rudl states.

Traffic Tip #4 discusses placing online classified ads. This is a beneficial practice when advertising your listings online. If you add your properties into our ListNOW database, your properties are automatically advertised to popular listing services such as RealtyOnline.net, Yahoo, and Lycos. If you can think of other websites in which to advertise your properties, it may be worthwhile to look into the possibility.

In Traffic Tip #5, do a little searching for relevant online newsgroups. There are many significant real estate related discussions that you can join. This will help you cultivate relationships with Realtors® around the country.

Thanks Robin, for passing along a great article!

We couldn't resist showing off some new banners that we had requests for.  These banners are available through your ListNOW v3.0 database in the 'Preferences' section.  Here are three beautiful banners that were just added:

I hope our weekly Marketing Tips have been helping you with your own marketing efforts.  Here is a testimonial from a valued client!

"In previous years I had felt that a Web site for us would be, perhaps at best, only moderately beneficial to our business, but not a whole lot more. I felt that because we operate in a niche end of the real estate and mortgage business, and combine the two, that nothing short of a very expensive Web site, intricately customized, would suit our needs. Even at that, I wasn't too sure that it make much difference. My, how my opinion has changed!

I learned of Advanced Access early in 2001 through Realtor Vern English, a little north of us in Tampa. As we both know, he has won several awards for his Web site, which you created from one of your templates. Noting your competitive prices and a whole lot of valuable real estate and mortgage information on your sites, I decided to go for an Advanced Access Smart Site. Wow! Little did I realize that with a little creative customization on our mutual parts our Web site would become such an integral part of our business.

Because of the nature of our business, the combination of what your template sight already offered along with our added on-line features of requesting a list of our property inventory, allowing our buyers to "bid" for properties , and applying for hard equity mortgage loans, our traffic has increased infinitesimally! There are some days when we receive upwards of 25 or more bids, or loan applications combined. These are not just routine "hits" but direct, income-producing inquiries. And, it's growing! Overall, we continue to experience nearly 5,000 regular hits per month. But the real news is that through the use of the site ,and continually notifying our clientele of its features, we have increased our business and continue to "automate" more of it daily.

Michelle, you and the Advanced Access Team have performed nothing short of phenomenally insofar as your ability to design our site and accommodate us. We both know how many adjustments and additions we have asked you to make to get the site where it is today. Compared to our previous experience with Web designers and hosters, there is no comparison to the response and attention we have received from Advanced Access, not to mention the superior features your sites offer to Realtors.Your company has been most accommodating and efficient. Frankly, why a Realtor would consider using anyone else for his Web site is beyond me!

We look forward to many years of working together."
