Spectacular Graphics Commemorating the 2002 Winter Games

Our designers have created beautiful new graphic collages featuring dramatic scenes from the Salt Lake City 2002 Winter Games. A special thank you goes to ADVANCED ACCESS client Doug Winder (he's from Salt Lake City!) for sending us these gorgeous photographs.

As the 2002 Winter Games come to a close, it is an appropriate time to think of Gold Medals and Gold Awards. Some web site "Gold Awards" are relatively easy to win, but the awards offered by RealEstateABC.com are not. To be worthy of a Real Estate ABC Gold Award, a web site must "overwhelm the web visitor with on-site consumer oriented content."

ADVANCED ACCESS has been recognized by Real Estate ABC as a consumer oriented web designer. The informative content on your ADVANCED ACCESS website has earned you an award you can be proud to display. So, if you would like to display your Real Estate ABC Gold Award on your website, simply tell your personal Account Executive to pick it up at www.realestateabc.com to display on your website.

An Important Note: Displaying your Real Estate ABC Award is great for reciprocal linking and will help your position on search engines for link popularity!

Valuable Information in CAR®'s Internet Buyer Study

The California Association of REALTORS® has recently published an updated survey on the demographic trends of today's consumers in the real estate market. And, our friends at Visual Tour recently published the results in their newsletter.

The "2002 Internet versus Traditional Buyer Study" reveals the continuation of the trend that today's consumers are increasingly using the Internet in their home buying process. Below are a few of the revealing statistics in the survey:

While traditional buyers went to see an average of 15.2 homes, twice as many as Internet buyers who saw only 7.5 homes on average, the Internet buyers were much more knowledgeable about the inventory, their needs, and their options. Their efforts saved their agents many hours of time in the process. Internet buyers also felt that they were more in control of the homebuying process than were traditional buyers, according to the C.A.R. study.

Seventy-three percent of Internet buyers went online in search of a real estate agent and 79 percent found their real estate agent online. Don't think that the Internet makes the agent invisible or unnecessary. It's quite the opposite. Once the buyers have used the Internet to learn about the market and become more realistic in their own needs, they turn to a real estate professional to guide them the rest of the way home.

Sixty-six percent of Internet buyers earned an annual salary of $150,000 or more, compared to 39 percent of traditional buyers. Almost twice as many Internet buyers were first time buyers vs. traditional buyers. Internet buyers also purchased more expensive homes than did traditional buyers. The median price of a home for Internet buyers was $452,000, significantly higher than the median of $310,000 for traditional buyers. While these figures may be higher than national averages, the proportions should be meaningful to any market.

The C.A.R. survey says that the Internet buyer isn't just some 24 year old spending all of his or her free time on the Internet downloading your MLS in the hopes of buying an $85,000 starter home. In fact, the survey indicates that Internet buyers cover a wide range of ages, income levels, and other demographic profiles. They have money and want to purchase above average priced homes. And they want your help! Are you ready for them?

YOU, as a savvy Internet REALTOR®, can show these consumers that you are their best resource when buying or selling property. Be sure to check your e-mail as often as you can. Make sure your website and e-mail address are prominently displayed on ALL of your marketing materials. And give us a call if we can help you.

GROW your Business without GROWING your Infrastructure

Are you working harder than ever, with less return for your investment? These days it's difficult to determine the best way to maximize your business potential without wasting valuable prospecting time. The answer could be as close as your Internet connection - through the use of "Virtual Assistants." Learn how Virtual Assistants can help you use the power of the Internet to assist you in becoming more productive, without hiring costly on-site assistants.

What IS a Virtual Assistant? As Michael Russer, aka "Mr. Internet" says, "A Virtual Assistant (VA) is essentially anyone who has the time, talent, skill sets, and desire to help you with some aspect of your business in an ongoing way. However, instead of accomplishing their work on-site they can be located anywhere in the world. And as long as they have a good Internet connection, and can speak your language they can get just about any job done that doesn't require geographical proximity to your place of work. For example, if you live and work in California your VA may reside in Indiana. "

Russer tells you HOW to make the most of this innovative idea in his article in Agent News. He also provides you with sources from which you can access lists of Virtual Assistant candidates from across the country.

Imagine running your business through the Internet using talent from all over the country. You save time, money and effort while making a giant leap into the world of Internet technology. Virtual Assistants will effectively broaden the possibilities for your business.
