Featured Employee of the Month - Getting to Know Paul La Motte
Born and Raised... I was raised in Carson, California with my
brother and sister. School Days... I went to Carson High where I excelled in basketball,
track and science. I was the odd ball; a smart jock. I was a shy skinny guy who loved to play video games.
I had an opportunity to play basketball over seas after high school, however it
did not go as far as I would have liked due to a painful knee injury. I returned
home to attend college and received my AA in Graphic Design and I am currently working on my BA in Multimedia & Production
Art. Family and Loved Ones... My family is great! I have one sister and brother,
a great and supportive mother and father, and the best friends anyone could ask for. Before Advanced Access There Was... I previously enjoyed a position as a Video Game
Tester for Activision. Before my career with Activision, I coached basketball
for a local high school. During that time I also had a bunch of acting jobs
where I did commercials and TV shows. I was even cast as a guest on a few dating
shows. Highlights of Working Here... I have enjoyed being able to gain experience in
many different aspects of our business. My first position with Advanced Access was
as a member of the Customer Support department. I was then offered a position in
the New Account Specialist department. Now I am in the newly formed Website Enhancement
department and it is a great fit for me. My coworkers in each department have been
great to work with. Looking to the Future... My goals in life is simple: I just want to be
happy. I'm not sure what it will take, but I think I'm going in the right
direction because so far I'm doing alright. Something We May Not Know... I hope to one day join the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship). I have been training for some time now.
