Featured Employee of the Month - Getting to Know Feather Camacho
Born and Raised... I was born in Stanton, California and
grew up in several cities in the Orange County area. I have lived in Anaheim the
longest though, I think it's almost been about 12 years now. I hope I will be
able to start traveling soon so that I can finally say that I've been somewhere
besides the neighboring Arizona and Nevada states. I would love to some day
visit the Palm Islands in Dubai -
http://www.thepalm.ae I Graduated from Buena Park High School in 1998, and attended NOCCCD where I majored in Web Design & Computer Technology. I plan on going back
to school soon so that I can study to be a nurse and continue doing what I love
most, helping other people. My parents have been a big inspiration in my life and
have always been there for me. I also have a younger and older brother that have
always looked out for me and are the best a sister could ask for. I am lucky to
be able to have such a close relationship with each member of my family. I have worked for several customer
service related companies throughout the years, but out of all of them I would
have to say that working at the U-haul in Costa Mesa, California was the best. I
had loads of fun and while working there I was able to master the art of parking
24-26 foot trucks in Very small parking lots. Trust me, you'll have to try it
first to understand my reasons for praising this skill. Teaching people how to
customize their websites is the best part. I really enjoy talking to our
customers about new things that they never thought they could do with their
sites. Working here is great because I get to learn something new all the time. I love collecting and creating art,
the best pieces I find are always in the weirdest places. I also am in love with
music, video games, and 80's cartoons. I have many plans for the future but for
now my main goal is to focus on finding a new home in the area and starting up
school again. My name was
chosen by my father, he wanted to give me something unique and beautiful. If he
had not chosen this name it would have been Yellow Moon. The ideas came from his
friends in New Mexico that were from a Native American tribe. I think if he had
gone with his second choice I would have still loved the name just as much.
I eventually plan on venturing into other parts of the world with my soul mate,
in hopes of finding the perfect area in which we can retire & live happily ever
after.
School Days...
Family and Loved Ones...
The most important man in my life is my best friend and
boyfriend of 3 years. We met at a New Years Eve party where we kissed for the
first time when the clock hit midnight. Besides the sparks that flew between us
from that smooch, we had fireworks exploding in the air behind us for a truly
romantic and memorable moment.
